Niagara Falls is a great spot for a 2-3 day family getaway. We highly recommend driving through NY, grabbing some Dino BBQ in Syracuse and then crossing the border at night. Also, our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge was excellent. Close to the WeGo Busses to bring to all the sites listed here. Lastly, use the Niagara Parks and City Cruises websites to get all your tickets beforehand to insure that they are available.

Niagara on the Lake is beautiful spot for an evening walk. Grab some dinner, wine, ice cream, and pop into the quaint shops. Don't forget to catch a sunset on Lake Ontario.

During the Summer, there are Fireworks above the Falls each night at 10pm. Also, the falls are illuminated with a variety of colored lights. This is a beautiful sight and a must-do during your visit. We recommend finding a spot at the Oakes Garden Theatre for a nice view.

While one of the more expensive excursions at the Falls, Zipline to the Falls is truly once in a lifetime. The ride is actually quite relaxing and really does appear that you are ziplining down into the Falls.

If you have young kids, they are going to want to spend most of their time at Clifton Park. There are haunted houses, arcades, shops, ferris wheels, mini golf and much more. The sights are fantastic and it's fun both day and night. The Fun Pass is highly recommended to save some money overall.

Our favorite thing to do at Niagara Falls is the cruise to the Falls on the Canadian Hornblower. You can also take a ride on the American Maid of the Mist. You are going to get incredibly wet (wear old sneakers or crocs), but it's well worth it. The view of the Falls is unparalleled.
